The concept behind Hampton’s on Sutter is simple: provide a great neighborhood bar and grill with an urban atmosphere and an accessible menu with something for everyone. A lot of thought has gone in to every step of the design and ambience of Hampton’s in order to create an environment where you can be comfortable in either casual or business attire. Stop by and relax a while or swing by for a cocktail and a great meal on your way home from work.

The owners of Hampton’s on Sutter have always dreamed of opening a restaurant in the wonderful Historic Folsom community. This area is so filled with history, fun, and a sense of community that it is a perfect place for a locally owned family style restaurant such as Hampton’s. The building itself is actually the renovated Donnelly house built in 1894. The design team and contractors worked to modernize the basics of the building while still maintaining the charm and feel of the beautiful old house. James Henry Donnelly was the first constable of Folsom and the location and style of the well-aged house are certainly befitting his prestige. The service, quality, and atmosphere of Hampton’s have all been structured to maintain the high standards that this building and area deserve. The basic goal of Hampton’s on Sutter is to be a place where people can comfortably eat, drink, and meet. There’s always something happening at Hampton’s whether you join us for live sports and entertainment on our five TVs, listen to live music, or hang out for the late night bar festivities. Come in and visit us with your friends or take a seat at the bar and make new ones!
